Ingredients You’ll Need:

Strawberry pie filling: Use either a store-bought or homemade strawberry pie filling.
White cake mix: The white cake mix could be substituted with a yellow cake mix. Use the dry mix, disregarding the directions on the box.
Butter: Salted butter was used in this recipe, however unsalted butter could also be used.

How to Make Strawberry Dump Cake:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Spray a 10.5 x 7.5 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.

2. Pour the strawberry pie filling into the base of the baking dish.

3. Sprinkle the vanilla cake mix evenly over the strawberry pie filling. Top with the sliced butter arranged in a single layer.

4. Bake the cake for 40-45 minutes, or until lightly golden and the strawberry filling is bubbling. Allow to sit for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
