Put on the Whole Armor of God With The Warrior’s Prayer

Based on Ephesians 6, “The Warrior’s Prayer” will help prepare you for spiritual battle. I first heard this prayer after discovering Dr. David Jeremiah, a well-known author, speaker, and pastor who has been influential in the Christian community for many years.

The Armor of God is Spiritual Armor

The Warrior’s Prayer is a powerful, uplifting prayer that protects us from the enemy. When referring to armor, we’re not referring to physical armor but spiritual armor.

In Ephesians 6, Paul says, “Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”

The Power of Prayer

Prayer is one of the most essential things we can do as Christians. It is a way of connecting with our Heavenly Father. Prayer allows us to seek and receive guidance, strength, and support from God.

When we pray, we open ourselves up to limitless possibilities. We allow ourselves to be vulnerable and to receive help from our Heavenly Father, who is much greater than us.

We must never forget about the power of prayer. Remember, 1 Thessalonians 5 tells us that we must “pray without ceasing.”

Put on The Armor of God and use this prayer as armor to protect you during these troubled times.

How to Pray

There is no single right way to pray. Prayer is a conversation with God, and so it can take many different forms.

Some people prefer to pray quietly and reflectively, while others find that they feel closer to God when they pray aloud.

Some people like to pray using specific words or phrases, while others simply speak from the heart. There is no wrong way to pray as long as you are sincere in your conversation with God.

If you are new to prayer, a good place to start is by simply talking to God as you would talk to a friend.

You can tell God about your day, your worries, and your joys. You can ask God for help or guidance.

You can also simply spend time sitting in silence, listening for God’s voice. However you choose to pray, the important thing is to be honest and open in your conversation with God.

The Warrior’s Prayer

Heavenly Father,
Your warrior prepares for battle.
Today I claim victory over Satan by putting on
the whole armor of God!

I put on the Girdle of Truth!
May I stand firm in the truth of Your Word so
I will not be a victim of Satan’s lies.

I put on the Breastplate of Righteousness!
May it guard my heart from evil so I will
remain pure and holy, protected under
the blood of Yahusha Ha’Mashiach (Jesus Christ).

I put on the Shoes of Peace!
May I stand firm in the Good News of the
Gospel so Your peace will shine through me
and be a light to all I encounter.

I take the Shield of Faith!
May I be ready for Satan’s fiery darts of
doubt, denial, and deceit so I will not be
vulnerable to spiritual defeat.

I put on the Helmet of Salvation!
May I keep my mind focused on You so Satan
will not have a stronghold on my thoughts.

I take the Sword of the Spirit!
May the two–edged sword of Your Word
be ready in my hands so I can expose
the tempting words of Satan.

By faith Your warrior has
put on the whole armor of God!
I am prepared to live this day in
spiritual victory! Amen.

The Warrior’s Prayer is a beautiful prayer that gives us strength in the face of adversity.

May we all be given the strength to fight our battles and find victory in Yahusha Ha’Mashiach (Jesus Christ).
