Cuisine American
- 2 lbs ground turkey
- 6 oz box stuffing mix, crushed slightly I use Stovetop chicken flavor
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup onion diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 tsp poultry seasoning
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 oz can cranberry sauce
- ½ cup barbecue sauce
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. To a large bowl add the turkey, stuffing mix, eggs, milk, onion and seasonings, mix until everything is evenly incorporated.
Roll the mixture into about 24 meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the meatballs are cooked through and reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
While the meatballs bake, to a large skillet add the cranberry sauce, barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard and apple cider vinegar, stir until smooth and slightly thick.
Serve the meatballs over mashed potatoes with the glaze drizzled over top, or you can easily toss the meatballs in the glaze and serve as an appetizer.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
- You can make these smaller and serve a lot more meatballs for a holiday appetizer.
- If the glaze is too thick add a dash of water until it’s the consistency you prefer.
- You may need to mix the turkey mixture with your hands to evenly incorporate everything.
